I've never really been a big fan of sci-fi, but once I began reading 'The Mars Transmission' - I didn't want to stop. The author managed to captivate my attention in the first chapter and maintained increasing interest as the following chapters became even more intense and continuously left me hanging on with suspense. I'm not sure what we will really find on Mars, but I must say this novel has certainly heightened my curiosity. 'The Mar Transmission' has definitely earned a "thumbs up" for the author.

Ron is a multi-talented individual who has done a marvelous job of carving his niche into the sci-fi realm with this first novel. The characterization and action scenes in TMT are both engrossing and believable. And although I'll definitely never be rated as a scientific wizard, the technical content and accuracy appear highly plausible - yet never overstated, too much to comprehend nor any deterrent to the storyline itself.

In short, TMT is a thoroughly enjoyable read, full of plenty of suspense and guaranteed to keep you pinned to the edge of your seat until the final chapter.

My husband originally began reading "The Mars Transmission' and I happened to
pick it up and began reading it. The author captured my attention and I refused to give the book back to my husband until I had finished it. "The Mars Transmission' is a fantastic sci-fi book. It is very intense and action packed, yet the possibilities seem extremely real. I seemed to forget that it was in fact fiction. I would recommend (and have) this book to anyone.

Although it is sci-fi, the author has done an incredible amount of research which makes the entire story extremely believable. His research and creativity has definitely paid off. It is also a marvelous novel, done really good, and

Ronald Reed Jackson has made every effort to be accurate in technical details, and the Mars mission profile he describes.
